Police: Wading River Man Arrested For Driving Drunk While in Possession of Drugs
The arrest was made on Saturday morning in Mattituck.

A Wading River man was arrested on a DWI charge and drug charges in Mattituck on Saturday morning, according to Southold Town Police.
Richard L. Freudenberg Jr., 29, was driving eastbound Route 25 by Evergreen Lane in Mattituck exceeding the posted speed limit, according to police.
Police found he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, slurred speech, blood-shot glassy eyes and was unsteady on his feet, police said.

Freudenberg was also found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana, police said.
He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, criminal possession of cocaine and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

He was transported to headquarters for processing and held for arraignment.
