Polka, Pierogies, Fun At Riverhead Polish Town Fair & Festival

RIVERHEAD, NY — Pierogies and polka galore will mark the Polish Town Civic Association's 45th Annual Polish Town Fair & Festival this weekend.

The event unfolds on both Saturday and Sunday in Polish Town from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and includes vendors, kielbasa, beer, stuffed cabbage and, of course, pierogies.

This year, crowds can enjoy Polska Disco by DJ Janusz and J & R Entertainment, beginning at noon both days. A flag ceremony will take place on Saturday at noon, with local officials onhand at 2 p.m.

On Sunday afternoon the Polish School will perform at the showmobile at 2 p.m.
