ProHEALH Opens Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Site In Riverhead
Those wishing for an appointment must meet certain criteria before being tested.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A drive-thru testing facility for the new coronavirus has opened in Riverhead, according to New York State Assemblyman Fred Thiele.
ProHEALTH opened its first drive-thru location at 1149 Old Country Road in Riverhead; the site is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Drive-thru testing at the Riverhead facility is by appointment only and is open to all, not limited to ProHEALTH primary care patients. However, only those exhibiting coronavirus symptoms, have had direct contact with a person exposed to coronavirus, or who have traveled abroad can make an appointment for testing, according to a message on the site's hot line.
