Prostitution, Massage Business Investigation Nets 2 Arrests: Cops

The business was operating in Wading River, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Two women were arrested in relation to a prostitution and an unlicensed massage business investigation in Wading River, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, the investigation into the business, located on Rt. 25A, was launched by the COPE unit in response to community complaints, with assistance from Suffolk County Police, Criminal Intel, the Riverhead Fire Marshal and code enforcement officers.

Yanfend Weng, 40, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession in violation of section 6512(1) of New York State Education Law, a felony, police said.

Fu Nana, 36, of Flushing, was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession in violation of section 6512(1) of New York State Education Law, a felony, and prostitution, police said.

In addition, other state fire code and Riverhead Town code violations were issued, police said.
