Pulaski Street School Announces Winner of "Golden Book Award"
Mrs. Martin's 5th grade class and Mrs. Ivins' 6th grade class received the "Golden Book Award".

Pulaski Street School encourages their students to keep reading over the summer as part of Pulaski’s “Get Caught Reading Challenge” and Summer Book Swap.
When the students return to school in September, they turn in their summer reading lists and the teachers calculate the number of books read in each class. The class that read the most books over the summer receives “The Golden Book Award” for their grade level.
The results are in and this year’s recipients of the Golden Book Award are:
In 5th Grade, Mrs. Martin’s class won (138 books read over the summer), and in 6th Grade, for the fourth year in a row, Mrs. Ivins’ class won (97 books read over the summer).
The winning classes get to keep “The Golden Book Award” in their classrooms for the entire year.
