Riley Avenue students wore orange to school on October 25th as part of an antibullying campaign.

RIVERHEAD, NY - From Riverhead Central School District: On Oct. 25, Riley Avenue Elementary School students celebrated national Unity Day, which brings students across the country together in the name of kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
As part of the antibullying event, the Riverhead Central School District students wore orange to school and participated in a Project Connect activity. For the activity, they each wrote kind words on a strip of paper that was then connected into a large chain. The chain symbolized unity among the students.
