Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research Preservation Issues Alert For Cold-Stunned Turtles
The foundation asks residents who live on north facing beaches to be on the lookout for turtles along the beaches.

The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation issued an alert on Friday that with the conditions of winds and high tides, a high number of cold stunned sea turtles to wash ashore on Long Island Sound beaches.
The foundation ask those who are located on the north facing beaches of Long Island to be on the lookout for turtles along the beaches on Friday.
