Riverhead High School Football Team Plays Their First Home Game Of The School Year
The Blue Waves Varsity football team beat West Islip 28 to 25.

The Riverhead High School Blue Waves Varsity football team played their first home game on Saturday, Sept. 13. They won the game over West Islip 28 to 25 in the last few minutes of the fourth quarter.
It was also the first game performance by the Riverhead High School Blue Waves Varsity Cheerleaders for the school year. The Riverhead High School Pep Band wore their new marching band uniforms and performed with the Kick Team and Baton Twirler at the game.
