Riverhead High School Goes Crazy for Sports
Fun was had by all as teachers and staff competed in an array of fun sport events on Thursday night.

It was a crazy night at Riverhead High School.
Crowds turned out for "Crazy Sports Night," organized by the PTO Executive Council to raise funds for two of Riverhead's own students, and .
Riverhead High School Principal David Wicks served as referee and Doc Greenberger and Lorene Custer kept the crowds cheering for more as master and madam of ceremonies.

Teams competed in events including an obstacle course, hula hoop chain, basketball competition, scooter and three-legged sack races and a good old-fashioned tug of war.
In the end, the middle school team ruled with 33 points, with the high school contestants coming in second, with 21 points.
