No 'Suspicious Activity' Found After LI Home Depot Bomb Threat: Police
There was no evidence of bomb-making materials, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A Home Depot store in Riverhead was evacuated Monday morning after a bomb threat, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, the initial threat was called in before 9 a.m.; at just after 11 a.m., Riverhead police were still at the store on Old Country Road.
A search of the building revealed no sign of suspicious activity or any bomb-making materials, police said.
