Riverhead Man Busted On Drug Charges After Search Warrant: Police
The arrest came after an ongoing investigation into drug sales and gang activity in Riverhead, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his home on Tuesday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office executed a search warrant at the home on Melene Avenue.
The search was the result of an ongoing investigation into drug sales and gang activities in eastern Suffolk County and, in particular, Riverhead, police said.

Deantae Jackson, 19, of Riverhead was arrested and charged with three counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
Riverhead Town Police, Suffolk County Police Emergency Services, New York State Police and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
