Riverhead Man Charged After East End Narcotics Investigation: Police
BREAKING: He was arrested after an ongoing investigation into drug sales on the East End, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after an ongoing investigation into drug sales activity on the East End, according to Riverhead Town Police.
According to police, Natia Yisrael, 41, was arrested by Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota's East End Drug Task Force, along with the Riverhead Police department's COPE unit, at 8:32 p.m. on Thursday.
He was charged with one count of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony, fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and second degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor, police said.

The East End Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit funded by Spota's office.
The task force includes detectives, police officers and law enforcement personnel from the New York State Police, Suffolk County Police Department, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, Suffolk County Department of Probation, Southampton Town Police Department, Riverhead Police Department, East Hampton Town Police Department, Southampton Village Police Department, Southold Town Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Homeland Security and the Suffolk County District Attorney Investigator, police said.
