Riverhead Police Department Receives Donation For Bullet Proof Vest
The Daughters of the American Revolution presented the department with a check earlier this month.

The Suffolk County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently donated $350 to the Riverhead Police Department in order to buy a bullet proof vest.
Ann Otten, Vice Regent of the Chapter, made the presentation, and closed with a prayer for police.
On behalf of the Department, Chief Hegermiller thanked the Chapter for their donation and generosity, but most of all “for their care and concern for the safety of men and women of the Riverhead Police Department.”
