Riverhead Stop & Shop Hosts Grand Re-Opening

Remodeled store features enhanced local offerings and expanded ethnic produce.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The Riverhead Stop & Shop, located at 1615 Old Country Road in Riverhead, held its grand re-opening. The store has received a complete face-lift, featuring new décor and graphics. Additionally, the store has expanded its offerings of natural, organic, and ethnic products across all departments in order to meet the evolving needs of the community, as well as its meat and deli cheese selection and beer selection.

To celebrate the grand re-opening, Stop & Shop donated $1,000 to Timothy Hill Charity and $1,000 to the St. Isadore Church.

Timothy Hill Residential Centers provide a safe house for at-risk young people to restore their lives and discover hope for their futures. Timothy Hill Residential Centers are a safe haven for young people facing abuse, abandonment, homelessness, incarceration and other crises.

As a longtime partner of Stop & Shop, St. Isadore Church was selected to receive this donation because of their commitment to providing food to the underserved in the Riverhead community.
