Riverhead Students Display Art at Parrish Museum's Student Exhibition
Six seniors submitted work for the exhibition.
Six Riverhead High School seniors submitted work to the Parrish Art Museum’s 2015 Student Exhibition and two senior artists, Kimberly Guthrie (Drawing) and Kaitlyn Talmage (Illustration) were selected to be recognized at the exhibition.
Each year, the Parrish Art Museum’s annual Student Exhibition gives local students the opportunity to have their work on view in a professional venue.
In addition to that thrilling experience for hundreds of students, this year’s Student Exhibition features a collaborative work that artists Steven and William Ladd created during their residency at the Museum.

The artists engaged with 1,100 students from the East End to produce a new original work—a signature scrolled landscape entitled 1960s TV Dinner.
One entire gallery is dedicated to that collaborative piece, as well as a photographic mural of portraits of more than 1,000 students.
