Riverhead Target Thief Apprehended: Cops
She stole a Google Home WiFi system, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Calverton woman was charged with stealing from Target in Riverhead in September, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, on Sept. 27, a larceny was reported at the Target located on Old Country Road when a woman stole a Google Home WiFi System valued at $274.
After an investigation was conducted by the Riverhead COPE division, Brenda Wright, 29, was arrested on Sunday and charged with petty larceny and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, police said.

Wright was processed at Riverhead Police headquarters and released to be arraigned on Nov. 22 in Riverhead Justice Court, police said.
