Riverhead Town Supervisor Declares Winter Storm Emergency
The winter storm emergency will be in effect until no later than noon on Saturday, March 21.

With snow currently falling throughout Riverhead Town and two to six inches expected by Saturday morning, Town Supervisor Sean Walter has declared a winter storm emergency effective at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 20 and continuing until no later than noon on Saturday, March 21.
During the winter storm emergency, all residents are urged to remove their vehicles from the street to increase the effectiveness of snowplowing operations.
All roads are slick and the Riverhead Town Police advise residents that when leaving their residence or business to use extreme caution and reduce speed.
