Riverhead Toys R Us Store Broken Into Christmas Day: Police

A Riverhead toy store was broken into on Christmas day, according to Riverhead Town Police.

Police responded to the Toys R Us store on 1151 Old Country Road in reference to a commercial alarm at about 4:30 p.m.

Officers found the glass to west side front door had been broken and entry had been made into the store, according to police

With the assistance of a State Police K-9 Unit, a search of the area was conducted but no suspects were located, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information in reference to this matter is asked to call the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500.
