Runaway Riverhead Teen Found Safe: Police
He was found after contacting a family member, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A missing runaway teen from Riverhead was found safe, police said.
According to Riverhead Police, Josue Aguirre, 16, "was located in good health in Hampton Bays after contacting a family member."
He had been reported missing after he was last seen on Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. at his home in Riverhead; he left on a bicycle and his whereabouts were unknown.
