Drunk Driver 'Swerving All Over The Roadway': Cops
Other motorists reported the man's driving, police say.

PECONIC, NY — A Rhode Island man who was reportedly "swerving all over the roadway" was arrested in Peconic on Thursday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Mario E. Oquendo Jr., 30, of Pawtucket, RI, was arrested at 9:51 p.m. on County Road 48 and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Oquendo was driving a 2011 Chevy Malibu west on County Road 48 and was stopped after after a motorist called the police to report that his vehicle was "swerving all over the roadway," police said.

Officers located the vehicle in question and saw it swerve over the white line onto the shoulder of the road, police said.
Upon further investigation, Oquendo was found to be intoxicated; he was arrested, transported to Southold Town police headquarters for processing and held pending morning arraignment, police said.
