Search On For 2 Teens Missing From Wading River
The two girls went missing from the Little Flower Children's facility, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The Riverhead Police Department is asking for the public's help to find two teens missing from the Little Flower Children's Services facility in Wading River.
Maria Mete, 13, is a white female, 5-feet, 1-inch and 140 lbs., with a light complexion and black-and-blonde long hair; she was last seen wearing a long black jacket, blue jeans and unknown type of boots, police said.
Jackeline Carballo, 14, is a Hispanic female, 5-feet, 3-inches and 198 lbs., with a light complexion, brown, mid-length hair; she was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray pants and a lime green winter hat, police said.

Both girls left the Little Flower Children's Services facility together Thursday and were seen entering a dark-color Subaru vehicle with Florida registration plates but unknown registration number, leaving the area in an unknown direction and with an unknown destination, police said.
Maria Mete was recently located in the Glen Cove area after a recent runaway incident and is also known to frequent the Farmingdale area, as well; the possible destination for Jackeline Carballo is unknown, police said.
