Search On For Car Thief In Riverhead: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for whoever stole a car from the parking lot of a Riverhead business, police said.

Riverhead Town Police said, on Thursday at 6:10 p.m., they received a report about a vehicle stolen from the NAPA Auto Parts store parking lot located at 1556 West Main Street. A black 2014 Cadillac ATS 4-door sedan, NY registration GXF2824, was removed from the parking lot by someone who sped off in an unknown direction, police said.

The Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded to the scene.
