Search on for Dirt Bike Thief: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for the thief who stole a dirt bike in Riverhead, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who stole a dirt bike from a Riverhead home last month, police said.

A 2006 Honda CRF 250 dirt bike was stolen from the front porch from a home on Daly Drive on July 6 between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
