Search On For Generator Thief: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — Police are on the lookout for a generator thief.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and find the man who stole a generator from a Riverhead business last month, police said.

A man broke two windows and entered Malvese Equipment, located at 232 Old Country Road, on Feb. 22 at approximately 1:05 a.m., stealing a New Holland portable generator, model N3100PR, valued at $510, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
