Search On For Man Who Stole Tools From Hardware Store: Cops

WADING RIVER, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are searching for the man who stole tools from a Wading River hardware store, police said.

A man stole two Dewalt Drill Impact guns from Ace Hardware, located at 6281 Route 25A, on November 28 at 1:38 p.m., police said.

The man was described as white, tall with a thin build between 20 and 30 years old, with a man-bun hairstyle; he also had tattoos on his left hand and left side of his neck, police said.

The man fled the scene in a waiting gray or silver vehicle, possible a Buick Enclave, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
