Search On For Man Who Used Stolen Credit Cards: Cops

He used the cards at a number of locations, including a Riverhead gas station, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a man who used stolen credit cards, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and find the man who used credit cards stolen out of an unlocked vehicle that was parked at Robinson’s Duck Farm Dog Park in Brookhaven on July 18, police said.

The cards were used at multiple locations later that day, including at Speedway, located on Old Country Road in Riverhead, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
