Search On For Missing Teen
He went missing from the Timothy Hill Children's Ranch in Riverhead and may be in Brentwood, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a teen missing from the Timothy Hill Children's Ranch in Riverhead, police said.
Jeffrey Chavez, 17, left the ranch without permission on June 1 and has not returned, police said.
The teen, from Brentwood, went home to his mother's house, where he was last seen on June 4, after refusing her request to return to Timothy Hill, police said.

He is believed to still be in the Brentwood area, police said.
