Search On For Riverhead Boot Thief: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a woman who stole a pair of Timberlands in December, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police Department officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman, wanted for petty larceny, who stole items from Famous Footwear, located at 1770 West Main St., Suite 1001, on December 11 at 4:30 p.m., and stole the boots, valued at $89.99, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
