Photos Released of Wading River Subway Robber
He robbed the restaurant twice in a week earlier this month, police say.
WADING RIVER, NY – Police are asking for the public's help to track down a man who help up a Wading River Subway shop at knifepoint twice in the same week earlier in July.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police detectives working together to locate the man, who allegedly entered Subway, located at 6302 Route 25A, on July 6 at approximately 9 p.m., displayed a knife, and demanded money, police said.
The employee complied with the man’s demands and the suspect fled the store with cash; the same man is believed to have also robbed the store in a similar fashion on July 11, police said.

The man was described as white, about 5-foot-11 to 6-foot, and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and gloves, police said.
