Search On For Thief Who Stole From Lowe's: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — The public's help is needed to nab a thief who stole from Lowe's in Riverhead, police said.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department, on July 4 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a man stole a DeWalt 2 tool 20 volt combo kit and a DeWalt 20 volt 6.5 inch circular saw from Lowe’s, located on Old Country Road.

The items have a value of $258, police said.

The suspect fled eastbound in a dark colored sedan, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
