Search On For Woman Who Stole From Target: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a woman who stole from Target, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who stole merchandise from the Riverhead location on Sept. 27, police said.

A woman stole a Google Wifi system from Target, located at 1140 Old Country Road, and fled in a black Ford SUV; the merchandise is valued at $274, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
