Paciotti said Jaxon's parents have not asked for anything "but time and grace" while they grieve the loss of their infant son.

"We as family, friends, and community would like to show our support and help lessen their burden with the costs associated with his funeral and memorial and to relieve all of the financial stress associated with this horrific tragedy," Paciotti wrote. "If you could please donate if you can, it would be greatly appreciated. We also ask for prayers as they navigate through this process."

Haas added: "Anything you can do to help them would be greatly appreciated."
