Southampton Police Report: Three DWI Arrests in Hampton Bays on Saturday

Three people were caught driving drunk in the Hampton Bays area on the same day.

Southampton Town Police report the following arrests in Hampton Bays on Saturday:

  • Scott Richard Moore, 27, of Grosse Pointe, MI, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Saturday at 2:06 a.m. Moore was stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel on Springville Road in Hampton Bays. He was found to be drunk and was charged with DWI and failing to maintain his lane of travel. Moore was processed at police headquarters and held for morning arraignment.
  • Nicholas Delmonte, 24, of Shirley, was arrested on a DWI charge on Saturday at about 4:15 a.m. Delmonte was seen failing to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Shinnecock Road and Wakeman Road in Hampton Bays. He was found to be drunk and charged with felony driving while intoxicated and disobeying a stop sign. The charge was upgraded to a felony due to a prior DWI conviction in 2013. Delmonte was processed at police headquarters and held for morning arraignment.
  • Jessica Lynn Geier, 19, of Manorville, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Geier was travelling on Montauk Highway near West Tiana Road in Hampton Bays when she was stopped by police for a traffic infraction. She was found to be driving while drunk and in possession of marijuana. She was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for a morning arraignment.
