Splish Splash Kicks Off 'Hero Appreciation' Week
There's a truck parade on Tuesday and discounts are available all week for firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military, doctors, nurses.

CALVERTON, NY — Splish Splash kicked off a week of "hero appreciation" at the Calverton water park Monday.
Firefighters, police officers, EMTs, active and retired military members, doctors, and nurses can purchase discounted "hero appreciation" admission for themselves and up to five of their guests through Friday; "hero week" tickets cost $39.99.
Also, on Tuesday, Splish Splash will host a truck event in partnership with the Riverhead Police Department, Riverhead Fire Department, Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corp and Peconic Bay Medical Center from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
