Splish Splash Raises Funds For Animals Displaced After Hurricane

Funds raised will help more than 30 homeless, four-footed friends brought to a local shelter after Hurricane Florence.

CALVERTON, NY — Splish Splash Water Park in Calverton gave back in a big way to four-legged friends in need recently.

Splish Splash, for the second time, hosted a “Doggie Splash Day” fundraiser to help the homeless animals at the Kent Animal Shelter, according to a release.

Pet owners brought their dogs to the park on Sept. 10 for some splashing good fun of their own — and Splish Splash raised $2,500, donating the funds to the Kent Animal Shelter.
