State Police Report: Two DWI Arrests, Drug Related Arrest

State Police-Riverside report the following arrests in the area during the week of April 20:

• Mariano Perez Alvapado, 25 of Westhampton Beach, was arrested on Monday, April 20 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped for the speeding in a school zone and driving across pavement markings on CR-80 in Eastport. He was issued traffic tickets to appear in the Town of Southampton Court on April 29.

• Casey Kerbs, 24, of Mattituck, was arrested on Saturday, April 25 for driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over for speeding on East Main Street in Riverhead. Investigation revealed Kerbs was intoxicated. He was released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court on May 6.

• Jared R. Copenhaver, 21, of Riverhead, was arrested on Sunday, April 26 for seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop on CR-58 in Riverhead. Copenhaver was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court on May 18.
