Students Wow At Long Island String Festivals
Congratulations to these talented young musicians!

RIVERHEAD, NY — Four talented Riverhead Central School District students recently performed in the Long Island String Festival Association’s Suffolk intermediate and secondary festivals, held in January at Hauppauge High School and St. John the Baptist High School.
The students, 12th-grader Sarah-Anne Fried, 10th-grader Nathanial Bollerman, eighth-grader Dara Marchini and sixth-grader Luciano Vene, were selected after receiving high scores on their performances at the New York State School Music Association Solo Evaluation Festival last spring, the district said.

Fried, a violinist, and Bollerman, a cellist, each earned the honor of first chair status at the LISFA festival.
