Suffolk County Executive Issues Travel Advisory For East End
Officials urge residents to avoid travel if possible.

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone has issued a travel advisory for the East End of Suffolk County effective immediately until further notice due to potential of high winds and drifting snow.
County officials strongly encourage East End motorists to avoid travel if possible as blowing snow has created hazardous conditions.
If traveling, motorists should be prepared for blowing and drifting snow and use extra caution.

Suffolk County’s Department of Public Works has deployed its entire fleet to spread salt and sand along all County-maintained roadways and facilities.
