Teen Burned In Riverhead Shed Fire: Police
BREAKING: The shed was engulfed in flames, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A teen was burned in a Riverhead shed fire Friday, police said.
According to Riverhead Police, a call came in at 3:30 p.m. about a fire on Fairway Drive; upon arrival, a shed to the rear of the address was found to be engulfed in flames — and a teen, 14, was found to have burns to her feet.
The Riverhead Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire; Riverhead Police's detective division and the Suffolk County Arson Squad were requested to investigate the cause of the fire, police said.

The cause of the fire appears to be accidental, police said.
The teen was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment, police said.
