
A Riverhead teen was punched and robbed in Riverhead on Saturday night, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Luis Sinic, 18, called the Riverhead Police Department and reported that he had just been robbed on Union Avenue at about 8:50 p.m.
He said that he was walking when a man walked up to him and punched him several times, according to police.

The man then stole Sinic’s wallet and cell phone before running off, according to police.
Officers were dispatched and searched the area for the suspect with negative results.

Sinic described man as in his early twenties wearing all black clothing, police said.
