Teen Stabs Another In Face With Butter Knife: Police
The 17-year-old was arrested and charged with assault, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A 17-year-old was arrested after stabbing an 18-year-old in the face with a butter knife in Riverhead, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place on Sunday, July 10 at 7:51 p.m. at the Timothy Hill Ladybug House on Sound Avenue when the two males were engaged in an altercation.
The 18-year-old was injured, police said; he was initially uncooperative with responding detectives, police said.

Detectives later arrested the male, 17, and charged with second-degree assault; he was arraigned at the youth part court, police said.
