Teeny Award Nominations Announced

Riverhead and North Fork schools recognized.

The East End Arts Council announced the 2012 Teeny Awards Nominees on Wednesday morning -- and Riverhead schools received a large number of nods.

The 10th annual Teeny Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 10 at Eastport-South Manor High School and will be hosted by broadcaster Bonnie Grice.

INNOVATIONS IN THEATRE EDUCATION

McGann-Mercy High School is being recognized for its addition of a third production during the school year devoted to serious drama by such playwrights as Tennessee Williams, Thornton Wilder, Edward Albee and Eugene O’Neill.
