TheRIVERHEADPROJECT Unveils theWINEPROJECT Hosted by Empire State Cellars

theRIVERHEADPROJECT weekly wine dinner, theWINEPROJECT, will be hosted the first Tuesday of each month by the all-New York State wine shop, Empire State Cellars.  A representative from Empire State Cellars will choose and pour New York wines at each dinner and lead the discussion on the featured wines. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. Upcoming dates include: May 6, June 3, July 1 and August 5. Each dinner will feature a multi-course family style menu paired with the select wines. Wine themes will vary, some will include: North Fork Merlot, Finger Lakes Riesling, obscure varietals, Cabernet Franc, sparkling, spirits, blends, and romantic whites.

The chef will not know what wines are being poured and the presenter will not know what dishes will be served. Together, guests may join in on the intimate conversation while discovering new and interesting food and wine pairing. The dinner will be served at the restaurant’s long and elegant farm table in the coziest corner of the dining room. The 14-person dinner is $40 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Weekly WINEPROJECT dinners will continue every Tuesday as previously scheduled.
