Thief Steals Cash From Jiffy Lube In Riverhead: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — A thief broke into a Jiffy Lube in Riverhead in the hours and stole cash, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, authorities responded to a call from Jiffy Lube, located on Old Country Road, in regard to a reported burglary.

An employee from Jiffy Lube said that between 7:15 p.m. on December 30 and 7:20 a.m. on December 31, an unknown person forced entry into the building and removed a cash drawer containing an unknown amount of U.S. currency, police said.
