Thief Steals Landscaping Equipment: Police

JAMESPORT, NY — Someone stole landscaping equipment from a trailer in Jamesport recently, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, sometime between March 16 and March 26, someone broke into a secured commercial landscaping trailer on Herricks Lane and stole two Redmax model 8050 backpack blowers, one Echo brand weed wacker and two Redmax weed wackers, similar to those show below.

The total value of the items exceeded $2,100, police said.
