Thief Steals Money, Cigarettes From Gas Station: Cops

WADING RIVER, NY — The search is on for a thief who stole cash and cigarettes from a Wading River gas station, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, a report came in Sunday morning at 5:06 a.m. about a burglary at the Valero gas station on Route 25A in Wading River.

The thief forced entry into the gas station and stole the assorted cigarettes and an undermined amount of money, police said.
