Thief Stole Cash From Riverhead Home: Cops
He entered through a side window and stole the money, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A man was busted after he burglarized a Riverhead home, police said.
According to Riverhead Police, the incident took place on May 4 when an East Avenue resident reported that someone had entered through a side window and removed several hundred dollars.
The Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and conducted an investigation, which led to the identification of Taiheem M. McKay, 23, of Riverhead, as the man who burglarized the home, police said.

McKay was located on Monday, arrested, and charged with second degree burglary, a felony, and fourth degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, police said.
He was transported to Riverhead Police Department, processed and held for arraignment, police said.
