Three People Killed in Murder-Suicide

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a murder-suicide during which three people died in Wading River on Sunday night.

Riverhead Town Police were called to 27 12th Street after a resident of the home called 911 to report a gunshot victim at 10 p.m., police said.

When police entered the home, they found three people dead from gunshot wounds, according to police.

Thomas Calhoun, 44, allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend, Tanya Lawrence, 43, and her daughter, Danielle Lawrence, 17, before killing himself, police said.

All three were residents of the home, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
