Town of Riverhead Presents "The Little Mermaid" at Wading River Beach
Event will be held on Sat. Sept. 13

Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean Walter and the Town Board announced Wednesday that the Riverhead Recreation Department will be offering ‘Movies at the Beach’ - a free special event for the entire community.
“The Little Mermaid” will be featured on Saturday Sept. 13 at Wading River Beach on Sound and Creek Road at 7:15 p.m.

“For the first time, we will be offering this free special event on the west end of town in Wading River,” Walter said.
“I invite our residents to come spend an evening under the stars watching a family-friendly movie with their children, family and neighbors,” he said. “I hope this is the first of many movies to be made available at this location.”

This performance is open to all residents from the Town of Riverhead and will be shown on a 14’x26’ outdoor screen. Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Those attending should consider bringing chairs or blankets to sit on and try to arrive early enough to find a preferred location to view the film.
