Toyota Donates New Minivan, $30K To Domestic Violence Shelter

"This van will be game changer," says The Retreat's executive director, Loretta Davis.

The Retreat, the East End’s lone shelter for domestic violence victims, has for years needed extra transportation to shuttle clients and their children to appointments and outings.

Toyota recognized the problem and presented the shelter with a new, eight-seat 2018 Sienna minivan, topped with a bow at Riverhead Toyota Tuesday.

“This van will be game changer,” says The Retreat’s executive director, Loretta Davis.
